FOR THE DEDICATED CARNIVORE…
This full-on, hands-on experience has been created especially for the dedicated carnivore. Our senior butcher and head chef will arrive at your venue early with a fresh pig or lamb to spend the day teaching you about the art of butchery, meat preparation and cooking.
10.00am: We start with a briefing of the day’s activities and a run-through of safety procedures.
10.30am: We kit you out in a professional butcher’s outfit and get you to work cutting the animal into its primal parts. Our butcher will explain everything while you work and offer advice about how best to use the cuts.
11.30am: With the chef, we start preparing your meat just the way you want it. We can portion off some of the meat for your freezer, too.
12.30pm: Our chef will prepare a light lunch and we’ll catch up on what we have achieved so far.
2pm: We return to preparing our meat and make delicious sausages using a traditional sausage machine.
4-5pm: Time to create sauces and marinades before firing up the grill for the ultimate barbeque. Invite up to 12 of your friends and family and enjoy cooking up the day’s produce to perfection, guided by our chef.
